What Are Essential Oils?

Essential Oils are natural fragrances that come from the essence of flowers, plants, grass, and trees: God's own designer scents. As stated in Genesis 1:29 "...Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed..."   Essential Oils contain the  healing and therapeutic properties God created them specifically for. The scents of Essential Oils may be imitated by man but man cannot duplicate the benefits the Creator intended these plants, trees, grass, and roots to serve within our bodies. Whether in a lotion, cream or body oil, these "true oils" will go to the area in the body for which it was created for and begin to do what it was created to do. We can only assume God meant, not only the mutual value of the food, but the fragrance as well as the healing and therapeutic properties of the Garden when he spoke to Adam.

Our signature line contains blended Essential Oils, as it is our desire to provide the benefits of the natural oils from the plants, herbs and flowers in our products for aromatherapy. Blending is the process of mixing two or more essential oils together to create a fragrance or to be used in a therapeutic manner. We use our oils for the purpose of "scenting", our products,  but the benefits of the Essential Oil is a plus.  Blending consists of a top note, middle note and base note. The first scent, followed by the second, and finally the remaining scent.

Essential Oils to select from include:

  • Citrus Scents: Bergamot, Grapefruit, Lemon, Lemon Grass, Lime, Sweet Orange, Tangerine. 

  • Floral Scents: Chamomile, Jasmine, Neroli (Orange Blossom), Rose, Ylang Ylang. Geranium, Rosewood

  • Spicy Scents:  Anise, Cinnamon, Clove, Vanilla.

  • Earthy Scents: Armyis, Frankincense, Ginger, Myrrh, Patchouli, Vetiver.

  • Woodsy Scents: Cedar wood, Sandalwood

  • Herbal Scents: Basil, Clary Sage, Eucalyptus, Peppermint, Rosemary, Sage, Spearmint.  Please note that if you are prone epileptic seizures, you should avoid products containing the essential oil Basil, Rosemary or Sage.
